Landscapes / Faces / Florals

Loving colour, shape and form for as long as I can remember, in 2019 I found the courage (with the help of an artist friend) to put paint on paper and see where it led me. And once I started, I couldn’t stop.
Living in Woodbridge, Suffolk, the big East Anglian skies often provide inspiration for the spaces within my work. And as someone who doesn’t do symmetry (or matching dining chairs), my work is all about embracing the quirks and imperfections that are a vital part of the creative process.
Having enjoyed an early success with my figurative piece ‘Ned’ accepted and shown at the RA Summer Exhibition in 2021, I was also thrilled when my landscape ‘Laura’s House’ was shortlisted in 2023.

Excited about all that Autumn brings, the Affordable Art Fair was a great success with six faces heading off to new homes. And with thoughts now turning to exhibitions in both November and December, I hope that we get the chance to say hello sometime soon.
